We are announcing a significant change in our platform’s operations. Effective January 30th, 2024, Sonic will no longer support WICP. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is a necessary step in our continuous effort to refine and enhance our platform.
Withdrawal and Swap Deadlines:
- January 30th, 2024: Swapping functionality for WICP will be disabled.
- March 30th, 2024: This is the final date for withdrawing your WICP from the liquidity pool.
New Incentive Program for LPs:
Transition from WICP to ICP To ease this transition, we are excited to introduce a special incentive for our liquidity providers. If you move your liquidity position from WICP to ICP, you’ll become part of an exclusive pool to share $5000 in $SONIC tokens.
How to Participate:
- Close your current WICP position.
- Swap your WICP holdings for ICP.
- Create a new liquidity position with ICP and any other token pair on Sonic.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The incentive applies only when transitioning from WICP to ICP.
- You must use the same wallet for creating the ICP pair as was used for closing the WICP.
- Note: New wallets created after this announcement will not be eligible for the incentive.
